Q-linea AB (publ) (OMX: QLINEA) today shared updates on the progress of the introduction of ASTar® System in the GCC region.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During the first week of February, ASTar instrument was on display in the booth of the AMICO Group at Medlab Middle East in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. With over 28,000 visitors and close to 900 exhibiting companies in 2024, it is the premier event for introducing new technologies for medical laboratories in Asia, Africa and the GCC region. Supported by colleagues from Q-linea, the AMICO team performed multiple demos to representatives from private and public hospitals, and ASTar was very well received.<\/p>\n

As a continuation of the business development strategy in the Region, AMICO will host a Sepsis Management Day on February 19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The roll-out plan combines educating healthcare professionals about the benefits of rapid AST and its role in patient care with product evaluations at select hospitals.<\/p>\n
