Q-linea signs distribution partnership for France

Q-linea AB (publ) (OMX: QLINEA) today announces that the company has signed a distribution partnership for ASTar® Instrument and consumables for France with Eurobio Scientific.

In line with Q-linea’s strategy to extend the commercial footprint across Europe for ASTar, France is the 6th European country with commercial coverage, either through a distribution partnership or direct Q-linea presence.

“I’m really pleased with the progress we have made in the last months and that we now cover the major markets in Europe where we have seen the largest traction on rapid AST. With Eurobio Scientific we add another very strong company to our distributor network, and they bring a lot of expertise, a highly motivated team, and a sizeable installed base of more than 500 diagnostic instruments in their customers laboratories into this partnership,” said Thomas Fritz, CCO at Q-linea.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Q-linea on French market. ASTar is an innovative solution for diagnosing antibiotic susceptibility in a couple of hours, improving outcomes for patients, the heart of our mission in Eurobio Scientific. Thanks to this collaboration, we increase our offer in microbiology and overall, we continue to propose innovation in laboratories,” said Jean-Michel Carle Grandmougin, Chairman and CEO at Eurobio Scientific.
